• What materials are used in your designs?

  Designs are hand-fabricated in sterling silver, brass and copper. They begin with sheet, wire and tubing that is sawed, soldered, forged, and formed. Gemstones and beads are sourced from around the world with a particular fondness for Michigan stones such as Leland Blue and Frankfurt Green. Shapes, texture and colors evoke the spirit of the natural world.

• What does it mean to be One of a Kind?

  One of a Kind jewelry is hand-fabricated by an artist with no two pieces ever the same. Because the works are made by hand, pieces may vary slightly in size & shape.

• How can I find out more about a piece before I purchase?

  If you have any questions about the jewelry designs, reach out through the contact form and we’ll be in touch to answer any questions. Note that photos of jewelry may show slight differences to actual color, hue or finish.

• How do I care for my jewelry?

  The best way to care for jewelry is to wear it. Store your jewelry in an airtight jewelry box or in a plastic bag, somewhere with low humidity. Tarnishing is the result of oxygen or sulfur coming into contact with sterling silver or other metals. Silica packets or anti-tarnish sheets can help keep the moisture out. Avoid storing in direct sunlight. Polishing your jewelry is usually the best way to keep it clean especially before it becomes too tarnished. “Sunshine” polishing cloths, available online, come highly recommended. Do not polish pieces with a special patina such as the Sunset Series fired copper designs that are meant to darken with age.

• How are returns or repairs handled?

• Where can I view your jewelry in person?

  Jewelry can be found at Studio JSD and the Muskegon Museum of Art Galleries or at art fairs.

• How will my order be shipped?

  Orders are shipped via USPS mail.

• How long will my order take to arrive?

  Orders are mailed within a week. Shipping time depends upon your location.
